BioFour and a half years ago, I met an amazing man who changed every aspect of my life for the better. Michael has shown me a love I never imagined possible, and has extended that love to my children, caring for and loving them as his own. Through him I have learned to live, to laugh, and most importantly to not only love but to be loved - genuinely loved. He is my best friend and my confidant, my complete opposite and my soul mate, all wrapped into one. He truly is my everything and I can't imagine my life without him. It as with great joy that I became his wife on August 8th, 2008.
I have four children: Joseph 13, Danielle 10, Eliana 7, and Zechariah 3. I am a stay at home mom, and for the most part I love it. There are times when I yearn for outside adult interaction, and have even considered going back to work, and then I am reminded of how truly lucky I am to be able to stay home with my children. To offer them the safety and security that they deserve and need, the safety and security I needed but never received as a child. I don't bag on working moms, as I said, I have that yearning at times.
I love trying new recipes, food and drinks alike. Michael and I are known for hosting fight night and game nights, we truly enjoy the company of our friends and family. Basically, I love having a good time!
I love sports, mostly baseball and football. I bleed Dodger Blue and must confess to being a Cheesehead. An occasional basketball game catches my interest, but usually only if it is the Lakers. I am addicted to the UFC and rarely miss a fight!
I believe strongly in B.B. King's words "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me". I am not perfect and have made mistakes, most of which I have learned from. I do not claim to be anything I am not, nor will I allow someone to be misled about me. I don't do fake. If I am upset, it shows, if I am happy it shows, if I don't like you, it shows. It's who I am. I am real - I am open and honest and I will always be truthful about how I feel or think. All I ask is that those I share my life with do the same. I expect a mutual respect and a unwavering loyalty from my friends, and my family. Anything less is not good enough.
